Este lugar de la foto se llama el TEÑIDERO del Río Celeste. Ubicado en Costa Rica. La leyenda cuenta que es aquí, en ese punto donde el agua cambia de transparente a azul, donde dios fue a lavar sus pinceles después de pintar el cielo, en aquellos días de la creación del mundo que relata el Génesis bíblico.
La realidad es bien distinta. Es un tema muy complicado para comprender por todo aquel que no sepa de física. Pero resulta que eso no es más que un efecto óptico que se produce en la unión de dos ríos diferentes en este punto. Más abajo adjunto la foto que lo explica para aquellos que tengáis la capacidad de entender estas maravillas que la naturaleza nos regala y para las que hemos tenido que encontrar dioses y leyendas para poder darles un sentido.
En el agua celeste, aunque esté apetecible, no te puedes bañar. Llega el agua del volcán cercano, el Tenorio, llena de azufre.
This place of the picture, located in Costa Rica, is well known as ‘El teñidero’. Something like ‘the place to dye’. Legend says that god cleaned the brushes he used to paint the sky during creation of the world written in the Genesis of the bible, in this point where it changes from clear to blue.
The reality is very different. It is very difficult to understand for anyone who does not know about physics. But it turns out that’s just an optical effect that occurs at the junction of two different rivers at this point. Below I attached the photo that explains it, but in Spanish, to those that you have the ability to understand these wonders that nature gives us and for which we had to find gods and legends to give them a meaning in our minds.
In the blue water, although it is tempting, you can not bathe. Water comes from the nearby volcano, Tenorio, full of sulfur.
